Modine manufacturing company has settled a personal injury litigation case that claimed that the company had contaminated the McCullom Lake Village, McHenry County, Illinois, where it operates a manufacturing facility.

Modine did not disclose the terms of the settlement or admitted any liability due to this settlement. The company is planning to propose a class settlement involving medical monitoring funds and property claims for property owners in that area.

Under an agreement reached with Plaintiffs, 22 personal injury cases filed in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and an alleged class action lawsuit that was filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, were settled. Litigation against other named companies in the lawsuits continues.
