Palm Beach, Florida, settled lawsuits of two separate cases of personal injury for $60,000 each.  It was a mediation settlement.

Mitchel Carlin accepted the sum of $60,000 for a motor vehicle accident in 2005. He was hit by a county owned fire truck. The fire truck was en route to acall, when it hit a vehicle which rear-ended Carlin. Carlin received knee injury along with neck and back spasms.

The second case involved Miriam Simms. He was injured in the back , while on a Palm Transport bus. He also received $60,000 settlement.
