In the early hours of Thursday, February 14, in Jacksonville, Florida, a woman driving an SUV ran a stop sign and slammed into a Stillwell Middle School bus. The bus was travelling to school. The woman was badly hurt and has been admitted to Shands-Jacksonville Hospital. Her condition is said to be stable.
There were two young children in the SUV. One of them was hurt, a 14-month-old. It is believed that the son’s car seat was not properly secured. The child’s injuries are life-threatening. The other child was unhurt.
